#whatifconfphx : take two

So I have been trying for a few days now to write this blog post and trying to explain another amazing week at the What If Conference. But also trying to keep it short. Me and Ashley from Maria Maria Photography attended last year in Punta Cana and we were both blown away by the end of the week. We signed up right away for this year not knowing where it was even going to be or how much. Sometime we can be rebellious. Well I could not have asked for a better round 2. We stayed at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg, Arizona. This place was beautiful. Perfect location for an awe inspiring week. It was a different expierice for us then last year since we already knew what we were getting ourselves into. It was a reunion with old friends and meeting new friends. This conference is fun, like karaokee dance party game night kind of fun (my favourite). This conference pushes you to ask the questions you were avoiding or maybe did not know you needed to ask them. It is inspiring to hear the speakers and the attendees talk about their failures and success. Last year was more personal for me and it pushed me to go in a direction that I needed to go and face some things. This year it still touched on personal but it was more business focused. Which I am so stoked for upcoming goals and changes. Another amazing thing is that for each conference we take a day to go into the community to give back. This year the fabulous Sharalee Prang put it all together and we went to the small town of Yarnell. Yarnell was hit with a fire a few months ago that took the lives of 19 of 20 fireman and many of the residents homes. We split up into groups and helped where it was needed. Painting, rebuliding, moving items and cleaning up debris. We were able to do 200 hours of labour in 2 hours. It was surreal when we were cleaning up debris to realize it had once been a neighborhood. But the people of Yarnell were so inspiring. They shared their stories with us and it was overwhelming the positivity and bravery of this community. I can't say enough how much I love this community of creative people, it still blows me away how close and supportive everyone is. I highly recommend you sign up for next year. http://whatifconference.com/ SO much love to Jen Bebb who works her butt off putting this conference on and has changed peoples lives because of it. One of the most inspiring people, if not the most inspiring person I have met. So much love to the Bebbs.
