Linnea and Trevor's wedding was one of the most unique wedding's I have shot and fit so well with the two of them. I met them both this past March when I was visiting Toronto and we were lucky enough to shoot their engagement photos at the Shangri-La Hotel. With their style and love I could not wait to photograph their wedding. Both from small towns on almost opposite sides of the country came together in Vancouver. I adore these two and the time I was able to spend with them. They are beautiful people inside and out and it comes out even more when they are together. I could not wait to see Linnea's dress and the amount of work she put into it is amazing. Her 2 tier veil that she hand made and then dip-dyed the edges in pastel pink. The flower crown which was a half synthetic and then added preserved peach roses ordered from Japan. For the dress she she added and made an ivory, twisted silk strap. Which she hand-beaded every sungle multi-toned seed bead that draped off the shoulder. Minimum of 40 hour bead work, that is dedication. Linnea also made and attached the grosgrain ribbon belt with crystal appliqués. The bridesmaids dresses were from Zara and she hand dyed those along with the vintage slips that went underneath. I was blown away by this and needed to share, it looked like perfection. Trevor fit perfectly with his suit that he chose, they both looked stunning. The morning was very calm filled with laughs, gifts and some happy tears. The remainder of the day was spent at one of my favourite Thunder Bay locations, Old Fort William. The ceremony was beautiful and a perfect represtetation of bringing two different people together. I was in love with the all the vintage decor, especially the lace dream catchers. To say I am in love with the portrait session is an understatement, I have to many favourites, so many great spots. The whole day was filled with so much love and I am so happy I was there to photograph all the moments. Please check out all the beauty that is Linnea+Trevor and their beautiful day. As always a big thank you to Stacey for being an amazing assistant. Congrats Linnea+Trevor!
